These incredible CG Hair styles were produced in 3DS Max using Hair Farm to bring to life photo-scanned CG character assets for a fully animated sequence during the development of Guitar Hero Live. They are authored and setup for full simulation driven by character animations.
These particular hair styles were for hero characters within a band, support staff and key crowd characters, rendered in 3DS Max and composited using Nuke.
We are fully equipped to produce CG Hair styles in Maya through XGen using the Arnold renderer. We have a pipeline to convert any spline based hairstyles into real-time meshes for use in real-time engines.
